Having been formed in 1879, the club's first few decades were nomadic, playing on rugby fields in different parts of Wellingborough, before finally moving to Cut Throat Lane in the 1970s. The clubhouse and grounds were officially opened by Dickie Jeeps on 13th April 1975. To celebrate 50 years since the official opening, we are holding a buffet lunch on Saturday, 12th April 2025, with a 2 pm start. Club members and guests are welcome. Music from 1975 will be played, and photos of the early years will be on display. On the day, in 1975, we played a team from Northampton Saints. I am hoping many of the players who participated that day will be able to attend.
If you are able to attend, please let me know as soon as possible.
