Following a night of heavy rain, we were surprised how good the pitches were, nice and soft, not too boggy!

Olney brought a nice selection of players, while the rest of their team played away at another smaller club.

With a full sized U9 pitch we started off strong and evenly matched. Making good use of the space available. Some good tackles and a few consecutive turnover balls preventing either team from scoring.

A fumbles lost us possession several times but we fought hard to keep spirits high.

Post match catchup with Olney coaches, they said it was a delight to play
